Responsibilities:

  1. Cleaning Tasks:
    • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, dust, and debris.
    • Clean and sanitize surfaces such as countertops, tables, desks, and windowsills.
    • Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces to remove accumulated dirt and grime.
    • Disinfect high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
    • Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
    • Refill soap dispensers, toilet paper holders, and paper towel dispensers as needed.
    • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners to maintain cleanliness standards.
  2. Maintenance Tasks:
    • Inspect cleaning equipment and supplies for damage or wear and report any issues to management.
    • Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition by performing routine maintenance and cleaning as needed.
    • Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are running low.
    • Follow proper procedures for handling and storing cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  3. Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
    • Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
    • Participate in training sessions on safety protocols, cleaning techniques, and equipment operation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred but not required.
