Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Tasks:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, dust, and debris.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces such as countertops, tables, desks, and windowsills.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces to remove accumulated dirt and grime.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
- Refill soap dispensers, toilet paper holders, and paper towel dispensers as needed.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Maintenance Tasks:
- Inspect cleaning equipment and supplies for damage or wear and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition by performing routine maintenance and cleaning as needed.
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are running low.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and storing cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in training sessions on safety protocols, cleaning techniques, and equipment operation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies.
