Responsibilities:

  1. Tractor Operation:
    • Operate farm tractors and other heavy equipment to perform various tasks, such as plowing, disking, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
    • Transport materials, supplies, and equipment within the farm property as needed.
    • Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
  2. Field Preparation:
    • Prepare fields for planting by plowing, harrowing, and leveling the soil to create optimal planting conditions.
    • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals to fields as directed by farm management.
    • Assist in irrigation system setup and maintenance to ensure proper water distribution to crops.
  3. Crop Management:
    • Assist in planting seeds, transplanting seedlings, and applying mulch or other protective coverings to crops.
    • Monitor crop growth and development, identifying and addressing issues such as pest infestations, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.
