Responsibilities:

  1. Dishwashing and Sanitization:
    • Operate dishwashing equipment, such as dishwashers and sinks, to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
    • Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in appropriate storage areas.
    • Monitor water temperature and chemical levels to ensure effective cleaning and sanitization.
    • Replace dishwashing chemicals and water as needed to maintain cleanliness standards.
  2. Kitchen Support:
    • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
    • Empty trash bins, sweep and mop floors, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dishwashing area.
    • Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling materials in accordance with waste management guidelines.
    • Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries.
  3. Safety and Hygiene:
    • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handwashing techniques and the use of gloves and other personal protective equipment.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
